OUR PURPOSE

Goals

Our immediate goal is to successfully soft launch the platform in March 2025 on the campus at the University of California Merced. In the long term, we aim to expand our services to other campuses and office spaces, continuously improve our technology, and create a culture of sustainability and community engagement. By 2026, we aspire to be a leading model for university-based food sustainability initiatives.

Our immediate next steps involve solidifying our Intellectual Property documentation and gathering troubleshooting feedback from a small-scale soft launch to refine the product. We will also implement an admin-accessible database for premium users and finalize contracts with our future target audiences. Future target audiences include California-based universities, corporate office spaces, and local and state entities.

What We Do

UNiFOODi operates a system designed to reduce food waste and alleviate food insecurity. They implement a technology-driven approach to facilitate the collection and distribution of food through a drop-off and pick-up system on campus. The organization aims to create a sustainable and inclusive environment, fostering community engagement and environmental responsibility. Their efforts are focused on preparing for the official launch of their service, with plans to integrate advanced features like live streaming and automated data management for enhanced efficiency and impact.
